Participate in the Coach Referral Service (CRS)

Enroll in an ICF-approved Coach Training Program

There are thousands of coach training programs, but ICF can help you narrow your search. More than 220 programs have gone through rigorous reviews and demonstrate they align with ICF’s Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. By completing an ICF-approved training program, you can be confident you are getting a high-quality education. Search approved programs.

Apply for an ICF Credential

Achieving credentials through ICF — the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program — can make a coach more marketable and signals a commitment to integrity, coaching skills, and client service. ICF Credentials are awarded to professional coaches who meet education and experience requirements and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the coaching competencies. Members receive a discount when applying for a credential. Learn more about credentialing.

Gain Continuing Coaching Education

ICF Chapters and Communities of Practice can apply for Continuing Coaching Education Units (CCEUs) for hosting ICF seminars and conferences. Coaches can use these credits when establishing or renewing an ICF Credential. ICF-approved events align with the ICF Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, and Definition of Coaching. Search the ICF Event Calendar.
